Tan-y-Clogwen cottage provides a twin bedded and a double bedroom, a character beamed living room and a separate dining/living room with double sofa bed that allows for two extra persons if required.
This property has the benefit of a secluded wild garden with terraces and seating from which to enjoy superb views of Cnicht and the surrounding river valley.

Tan-y-Clogwen:-
Ground floor
- Steps lead up to front entrance door. Small entrance lobby area for coats, leads into cosy Sitting Room, attractively furnished in traditional Welsh style, with Clearview multi-ftiel burning stove and colour TV.
- Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, we and wash basin.
- Small, well-equipped Kitchen, with electric oven, fridge, freezer and microwave.
- A washing machine is located in the outside stone shed.
- Door from kitchen leads down a small stone staircase to a Dining Room/Living Room, with dining table and chairs, and double sofa bed for 2 extra persons if required. Door leads to washroom with WC and washbasin.

Upstairs
- Stairs lead to small landing with Bedroom I having 4ft 6in double bed and Bedroom 2 having two 3ft single beds.

Facilities and services
- Linen: Duvets and pillows are provided. Duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases, towels and drying up cloths are presently not provided in the cottages. Visitors should therefore bring their own sheets, pillow cases, and duvet covers.
- Electricity: electricity supply is included in the rental charges. An adequate supply of logs and coal for the multi-fuel stoves is supplied free of charge.
- Cleaning: the cottage is thoroughly cleaned between lets by our caretakers
- Telephone: there is no telephone in the cottages, with nearest public telephone in Llanfirthen village (I mile). There is variable reception for mobile phones, with Vodafone the best.
- Parking: there is ample private parking for cars in a car park situated between the Mill and Tan-y-Clogwen
- Garden: all properties have terraces and gardens from which to sit out and enjoy the river and mountain views; garden furniture and barbecues are provided.
- A child's cot and high chair is available in each cottage
- Shops: The nearest supermarket is at Porthmadog (6 miles), although Spar stores in Penrhyn (2 miles) is well stocked and open every day until late evening. There is a small post office/village store at Llanfrothen (I mile).
- Pub: the nearest pub is the Brondanw Arms at Llanfrothen (I mile) which also serves excellent food.
- A folder containing information on all local places of interest such as National Trust properties, castles, lakes, craft industries, etc. is provided in each property along with a comprehensive set of cottage notes.
