Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday but weekends or mid week bookings can be arranged (subject to availability) during out of season periods (November to March). To allow for changeover of tenancy, premises will normally be available from 3.00 p.m on the day of arrival until 9.30 a.m on the day of departure.

Rental terms are by season as shown on the Availability page. Rental terms normally include reasonable use of fuel and caretaking (but exclusive of metered electricity). Currently vacant dates with rental terms are as indicated on the Availability page. This is up to date as far as possible but not guaranteed.

Deposit and final payment:

After receiving our email reply, if you are happy with the dates and price, you will need to post within 7 days a cheque for the deposit - currently fixed at 25% of the total rent. This will secure for you your booking.

The balance is due 8 weeks prior to commencement of your visit. On receipt of your balance we will send an acknowledgement with directions, final arrangements for collection of keys and a few cottage details.

In the case of cancellation, the deposit will be non-refundable. For cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday, the final payment is also non-returnable unless reletting is successful. In such case the costs of reletting will be deducted from the return of any payments.

We would strongly advise you to obtain comprehensive insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation. No VAT is currently payable on the booking terms.
